I am changing my long booking price conditions and updating my client status program terms

Starting from May 3, I am changing some conditions in pricing for long bookings and changing some conditions in my client status program, which mainly applies to clients who are on any client status above Occasional status. I will explain how I calculate the weekend price when the booking is longer than 3 nights and how I will manage the loyalty-free booking system in the future, as well as explain the frozen pricing rule in more detail.

Changes in weekend prices for longer bookings

The price for the weekend (Friday or Saturday) night before May 3, 2024, was calculated by the regular weekday price of 400 Euro per night if the booking was longer than 2 nights. The regular weekend price is for one night 600 Euro and for both nights (the whole weekend), a total of 1000 Euro (instead of 2x600=1200), which has 200 Euro savings. When a client has booked me for at least 3 nights, he saved another 200 Euro, which will change from May 3, 2024.

Starting on May 3, 2024, I will no longer offer the reduced weekend night price for shorter than 14-day bookings. That means if the weekend falls into the booking, the regular total weekend price will be applied; otherwise, if one of the nights is a single weekend night, then the price for a single weekend night applies. I discontinue to offer additional savings for weekends when booking is less than 14 days long. The changes have been applied to my system, and the most up-to-date prices can be found on the availability request price calculator as well as on the online booking form.

However, the changes do not affect bookings made before the date of effect. However, starting May 3, 2024, all new bookings will follow the updated pricing conditions described.

Changes in Frozen Pricing for Frequent, Priority, and VIP clients

My Occasional, Priority, and VIP clients typically have fixed agreements and do not have to pay the new price in case of a price increase. However, in this update on May 3, 2024, the option of Frozen Price will be valid only for bookings that have been booked before at least 2 times and for bookings lasting up to 7 days. All other bookings will reflect the most up-to-date pricing.

Changes in Loyalty Program for VIP clients

There have also been significant changes in my loyalty program for VIP clients. Before May 3, 2024, clients on VIP status could have a 5th booking free, equal to the most frequent booking length, but a maximum of 1 night. Starting from May 3, 2024, this rule is replaced with the new rule that the free booking will not be based on the most frequent booking but based on the average spending in the last 60 days for bookings. That means that the client can apply the free booking for an already confirmed booking by paying the difference between the average spending value and booking price or applying the booking with the same or less price than the free booking value (the amount of average spending). In that way, the client has more flexibility and can use their free booking credit also on weekends or on holidays if he never booked me on those dates. The free booking depends now on how much money is spent on average, which will be worth the free booking credit.

Also, from now on, the free booking can be applied to the 6th booking instead of the 5th one, which must not be used for the 6th one. It can be used on any bookings if the VIP status is valid. More detailed terms and conditions can be found directly on your client dashboard.

In short, what has changed?

  • Weekend nights price for shorter bookings than 14 days.
  • Frozen Price is to be applied only to shorter and previously booked bookings.
  • Free booking in the Loyalty Program can be used on any booking and is calculated based on average spending activity.
  • Free booking in the Loyalty Program is on the 6th booking instead of the 5th.
